Established park, wetland plan, or street-specific neighborway?
Metro Parks says Shelby Park opened in 1912 and is now more than 336 acres. It describes Lockeland Springs Park as a three-acre wooded wetland where staff are working with stakeholders on a plan. Metro’s Nations Neighborways project identifies Georgia, Indiana and Kentucky avenues and a connection to the 51st Avenue cycletrack. These are different status and location records, not assurances for every address under either neighborhood label.
