The Nashville perspective

Team or solo agent: compare who does the work

Evaluate the actual engagement, responsibilities and communication process. An organizational label does not establish service quality.

Ask both candidates the same questions

Ask how your particular difficulty would be handled, such as an out-of-state tour or two dependent closings. Review compensation, duration, responsibilities and termination provisions in the proposed agreement. Compare documented deliverables rather than headcount or self-ranking.

Which written responsibility matters most?

Ask both candidates for the same written explanation of availability, negotiation, transaction coordination, compensation, duration and termination. Compare the commitments that apply to your situation rather than a team-size label.
