The table keeps every housing measure on the same 2020–2024 period. Dollar figures describe that published series; they are not September 2026 asking prices, lender quotes or a prediction for a specific property in Williamson County.

The value gap is larger than the rent gap
Williamson’s $751,900 owner-value estimate exceeds Davidson’s $417,400 by $334,500. Its $1,969 gross-rent estimate exceeds Davidson’s $1,582 by $387 per month. These are separate populations, not matched buy-versus-rent alternatives. Dividing one by the other would not reveal an investment yield or a household’s breakeven point.
A $2,642 historical cost is not the payment on today’s purchase
The $2,642 median monthly owner cost for households with mortgages reflects existing households and their financing. It does not assume a new loan at a current rate against the $751,900 value estimate. A buyer needs a loan estimate for the actual price and down payment, plus property-specific taxes, insurance and association costs.
A county estimate cannot choose between Franklin and Brentwood
Both Franklin and Brentwood searches may use Williamson context, but this file does not isolate their housing types, subdivisions or transaction prices. Keep the county row as background, then compare the candidate homes’ ownership documents, layout and current transaction evidence.
